What is Statzpack?

Statzpack is an innovative software program that allows coaches and players to track their game and analyze and improve their soccer performance. Statzpack recently placed the first sports performance app in iTunes that links all the data you record on the field to a simple, easy-to-use website. Our partners include the University of Ulster, a leading sports research college, and the National Soccer Coach Association of America, the largest coaching organization in the world. 	The iTunes app allows the coaching team to record stats as they happen real time during the game using an iPod touch, iPhone or iPad. You can use it offline or when connected to a network (WIFI or carrier data network), and it presents you with a stats summary during the game, at half and full time, and stores nine previous match summaries on the device. The data you record syncs up with our website seamlessly, fully automatic. So you can record your regular stats like venue, date/time, score, saves, shots, corners plus you can set up customized performance stats like completed dribbles, 50/50s etc. CHECKOUT THE APP IN ACTION.
	The website component is easy to use, and is the place where the coach or team administrator sets up games, manages players, adds fixtures, plus gets to obtain a full analysis and report on all the games recorded. Over time you build up a reliable history of your stats and can analyze them by player, campaign, or grade, etc. TAKE A LOOK AT THE RESULTS YOU CAN GET

Who uses Statzpack?

We have a wide range of customers from junior to professional, international, school and college teams. Varsity coaches, youth coaches, even coaches at U8 level who aren’t interested in performance, but simply want to use Statzpack to record who played, when, and for how long. In a nutshell how does it work?

First, you input your team details on to the Statzpack Manager website. You add your players, chose your roster, your team name, add the campaigns you play. This game data transfers to the app and you are ready to go. For each game you add you state your starting line-up, substitutes, location, opposition, date, time, etc. You take your iPod or iPhone to the game and record the stats with simple presses of the screen with a few simple steps. Once you’re done, the game data sync with our Stazpack Manager website where your graphs, reports and charts are generated automatically.

So do I have to sign up to Statzpack.com?

Yes, Statzpack is a subscription-based service, so you have to register with us to get started. You can even try it out for free here.

Can I see how at a particular player is doing?

Yes. As every action is recorded of each player on the field, so you can learn how an individual is developing and what areas they need to improve. You can use Statzpack to scout players or follow just one or two players within a team for a game or over a season.

So do I need an iPhone or an iPod touch to use Statzpack?

No, you can enter data on the website. The Statzpack app has been built for pitch-side action capture. However, you can also record your stats using the old fashioned pen and paper method, and then enter the information on to the Statzpack manager website at home after the game. Statzpack offers complete flexibility in this way.

Does the iPhone Application work with an iPod touch?

Yes, it will work on the iPod Touch (2nd generation), iPhone and iPad.

Who can use it?

We have designed the service to be very easy to use and pretty much anyone can use it. The iPhone application comes down to three simple steps to record your stats.

What if I forget to set up a game on the Statzpack website and go to the game?

You can add a game on the Statzpack app and record it and when it uploads to the website and you login, you can edit and check the game details there.

So if I record a game on my iPod or iPhone how does it get the website?

If you record your game and you have connection to the internet – using WIFI or your operator data network (like AT&T or O2) – the data uploads in the background automatically. You don’t have to ‘send it’ or connect it to your PC. It all syncs up seamlessly in the background. Once you log into the website the data available on your dashboard.

Who can see my team information?

You and only you. No other team, person or organization can see your team’s stats. It’s 100 percent private and confidential.

Is the data secure?

Absolutely. We store all your information on secure hosted servers that are certified to the highest standard.

We don’t have any network or WIFI coverage when I go to the game. Can I still use Statzpack?

That’s not a problem. You can ‘download your game’ prior to going to the game. The game data is stored on the device (iPhone etc) so you can still record your stats, and it will upload when you next have connection. In fact you can set up games on the Statzpack app offline or online and, record them offline or online, too.

So what special software do I need on my PC?

None. Just a regular PC, MAC or laptop with web access is all you need. You can use a variety of browsers including Microsoft IE7 and above, or Firefox, Safari, or Chrome. What if I make a mistake when recording the stats?

There is an ‘Undo’ function on the Statzpack app that allows you to erase the last action you recorded. You can also log onto the Statzpack Manager website and edit your game details. You can edit actions, delete actions and even add new stats. You can also edit substitutions.

Can I still use Statzpack if we are half way through a season?

You can start using Statzpack anytime and you can add old game data onto the site.

Will there be changes to the iPhone app? How do I download it?

Yes, we plan to update our system continuously. Updates to the Statzpack app will be provided free and you will get these via iTunes. They are easy to download and all updates are tried and tested by us and Apple before you use them.

What if I don’t want to or can’t pay by Credit or Debit Card?

Contact us and we will arrange for you to pay by bank transfer or by check.

Who holds my credit card details?

We use a payment service powered by RBS Worldpay, that is secure and fully PCI compliant.
